Summary
SourceMod is a CS:GO server plugin that adds features like as custom chat commands, admin tools, and extensive scripting capabilities. MetaMod, on the other hand, is a general-purpose plugin management system that allows server administrators to load and unload various plugins, including SourceMod, on CS:GO servers. Because MetaMod and SourceMod are open-source and free, they are popular among community-run CS:GO servers.
How to add SourceMod and MetaMod to a CS:GO Server
1. From the MetaMod website select stable builds and choose the Linux version. 
2. From the SourceMod website select stable builds and choose the Linux version.
3. Go to your desktop, right-click and create a new folder. 
4. Put both rar files containing the MetaMod and SourceMod in the folder. Then extract the MetaMod and SourceMod files. 
5. Open the addons folder. Delete the metamod.vdf file. 
6. Select Make a VDF File from webpage on the MetaMod website. Choose the game dropdown menu and select CS:GO. 
7. Click the Generate metamod.vdf button. 
8. Place the downloaded file into the addons folder.
9. Open the folder again. Select both the addons folder and the cfg folder. Right-click and click Send to then Compressed (zipped) folder. 
10. Now open the Control Panel of the server.
11. Stop the server.
12. Choose Files.
13. Select the csgo folder.
14. Select Upload button.
15. Select the zipped file that contains the addons and cfg folder.
16. Find the .zip folder in the csgo folder, right-click and click Unarchive.
17. Start the server.
