How to add a password to your ARK Server?
Why protect your Ark: Survival Evolved server with a password?
Adding a password to your Ark server is key to keeping unwanted players out. It lets you control who can join, so only trusted people get in. This is especially important for private games or groups who want to play without random interruptions. A password also helps prevent griefing and other disruptive behavior that could ruin the experience for everyone.
Step 1) Go to your Console > click on your server and stop it using the "STOP" button.
Step 2) Once your server is stopped, go to "SETTINGS".
Step 3) There you’ll find a field called "SERVER PASSWORD" located on the top left of the page. Input your desired password in that field.
Step 3) Go back to the Console and start the server again.
Congratulations! Your server is now password-protected.
